You're Not

The Creative Struggle Is Real

01

Skilled but Underpaid

You're genuinely good at what you do. Your income doesn't reflect it. That gap isn't about talent, it's about strategy.

02

No Positioning

You don't know how to clearly explain your value to the right people, so you blend in when you should stand out.

03

No System

You're taking random jobs with no pricing structure, no ideal client profile, and no clear offer. That's not a business, it's survival.

We Don't Teach Skills. We Teach You How To Get Paid For The Ones You Already Have.

Skillbanc is built around one outcome: helping skilled individuals understand monetization, positioning, and real-world execution. Through structured cohorts, expert-led sessions, and live projects, we close the gap between talent and income.

Our Story

We Built the Platform
Nobody Built
For Us.

Skillbanc exists because the gap between being skilled and being paid for that skill is one of the most expensive problems in the creative world, and almost nobody was addressing it directly.

We kept seeing the same thing over and over again.

Talented people — designers, photographers, writers, developers, video editors — struggling financially. Not because their work was bad. Because they had no framework for turning that work into a business.

No one taught them pricing. No one taught them positioning. No one sat them down and explained how to find clients who pay well, how to package their skill, or how to build something sustainable around what they already knew how to do.

There were platforms teaching skills. Thousands of them. But almost nothing built specifically around the monetization side, the part that actually determines whether a creative thrives or burns out.

That gap bothered us enough to do something about it.

Skillbanc is the platform we wish had existed for a lot of people we know.

What We Stand For

Honesty

We tell creatives what they actually need to hear, not what sounds inspiring. The truth about pricing, positioning, and what's actually getting in their way.

Execution

We believe in doing real work, not just learning. Every cohort includes live projects with partner brands because a portfolio built on theory doesn't open real doors.

Access

Global opportunities shouldn't be reserved for a privileged few. Skillbanc is building the bridge between skilled individuals and the world stage they deserve to be on.

The Team Behind Skillbanc

What Is the Summit?

The SkillBanc One-Day National Virtual Summit 2026 is a national platform bringing together students, professionals, institutions, and ecosystem leaders from across Nigeria for one focused day of learning, connection, and action.

To make it happen, we need two types of volunteer contributors:

  • State Ambassadors — locally embedded individuals who help us reach institutions, officials, and communities in their state or FCT using approved outreach scripts
  • Core Team Volunteers — skilled individuals who take ownership of a specific operational or creative function for the summit

Both roles are fully voluntary. No salary, stipend, or payment is guaranteed. No physical visits or expenses should be undertaken without prior written approval from SkillBanc.

Which Role Fits You?

State Ambassador

You have strong local knowledge of your state's institutional, education, or business ecosystem. You can reach out to universities, government offices, NGOs, and professional networks on SkillBanc's behalf using approved scripts.

  • ✦ Open states: FCT · Lagos · Kaduna · Borno · Abia · Cross River · Plateau
  • ✦ Fully remote — no physical visits without written approval
  • ✦ Voluntary, no guaranteed compensation
Apply as State Ambassador
Core Team Volunteer

You have a specific skill or operational capacity and want to own a defined summit function — from programme design to technical production, communications, graphics, or rapporteur duties.

  • ✦ 6 roles: Partnership · Programme · Technical · Communications · Rapporteur · Graphics
  • ✦ Skills-based selection — you own a function, not just assist
  • ✦ Voluntary, no guaranteed compensation
Apply as Core Team Volunteer
